Alumni Student Assistant

Description: Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving team seeks a student assistant to help coordinate events logistics and communication to engage UNI alumni, faculty, staff, friends, and students. 


 Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, organizing, and executing alumni events and programs, including Homecoming, networking events, and fundraising activities.
  • Coordinate event logistics, such as venue setup, catering, and registration.
  • Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist in managing and distributing marketing materials for alumni events and programs.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating alumni records and databases.

 

Requirements: 

  • Available to work 10-20 hours per week during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
  • Periodic evening and weekend hours assisting with events
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, basic knowledge in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Experience working independently and with a team
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to think strategically and problem solve

 

Salary/Benefits: 

  • $11 per hour with $.25 raises per semester
