
Event Manager
Provide exceptional customer service to guests, coworkers, and volunteers while carrying out event duties at the Gallagher Bluedorn PAC.
Specific Tasks include:
- Lead a team of up to 70 volunteers at performances in the role of House Manager, including leading the pre-event briefing, resolving customer issues, and respond as trained to any emergency situation.
- Setup & teardown of tables, chairs, portable sound equipment and other needs for events in spaces around the GBPAC (some lifting required)
- Assist with miscellaneous event/show tasks including: selling merchandise, parking lot attendant, valet parking, decorating, leading pre-show experiences, and reception host
- Attend weekly Event Management Team meeting
- Assist with the management of the Volunteer usher pool of approximately 225 participants
Regular Night & weekend work is required, average of 1-2 nights per week, 2-3 weekends per month, depending on event schedule.
Must have a valid driver's license and eligible to drive UNI vehicles
