Library Assistant (Work Study) - Collections & Cataloging

Join Rod Library’s Collections & Cataloging Unit as a student Library Assistant. This behind the scenes position prepares library materials for check-out, checks for lost and missing items on the shelves, updates records in the online catalog, assists with inputting data into ScholarWorks (Institutional Repository), and performs other related tasks as assigned.
Number of Openings: 1
Hourly Wage Rate: $11.00
Hours Per Week: 10 during academic year; 10-20 during summer; Schedule: Work hours will be scheduled between 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday with no weekend or evening hours. This position will continue through the fall and spring semesters with the possibility of working summer as well.
Note: Must have a Federal Work Study Award.

Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to follow directions, ask questions, and report anomalies.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and push a full book truck.
