Community Engagement AmeriCorps Program Assistant - Work Study

Hours: minimum of 5-10 hrs weekly throughout the 2026/2027 academic year

 

Living Stipend: $4,500 (pay total for all 300 hours including workstudy)

 

Education Award: $1,565.08 (can be used to pay U-Bill or future education/loans)

 

Total Compensation Package: $4,500 + $1,565.08 = $6,065.08

 

Position Title: Community Engagement AmeriCorps Program Assistant

 

Task include but are not limited to:

 

  • Creating new content for our website and other platforms
  • Tracking community engagement hours
  • Assist in the development of content for the monthly Newsletter
  • Developing educational materials to raise awareness of the of the Office of Community Engagement
  • Enhance and elevate events, including the Volunteer Fair, UNI’s Day of Sevice, etc.
