Tutor - UNI Classic Upward Bound

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Provides tutoring to high school students enrolled in the Classic Upward Bound (UB) TRIO program. Supports UB scholars in the subject areas of math, science, English, history, and foreign languages. Records time spent with each student, completes progress reports at the end of each semester, and participates in supplemental instructional staff meetings. Tutors must have their own transportation, be dependable and have a passion for helping young people succeed. 

Candidates must be at least a college sophomore or higher and have at least a 2.75 gpa in the select subject area.

SCHEDULE:

Monday through Thursday 2:45-5:15 p.m. in person at Waterloo East or Waterloo West High School. Evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:15-7:45 p.m. virtually via Zoom.
