Communications Student Assistant

Use your communications, computer and research skills to help the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council’s Central Operations Team headquartered at the University of Northern Iowa spark curiosity and ignite skills in Iowa youth to build Iowa’s workforce for tomorrow.
 
Flexible schedule
20 hours per week (academic year)
25-30 hours per week (summer)
$15 per hour
 
ABOUT THE JOB
Approximately 20 hours a week to support the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council Central Operations Team in advancing the STEM effort across Iowa. To learn more, go to: https://iowastem.org/
 
In this position, we are seeking a motivated, self-starter who enjoys staying engaged with an array of projects which require strong skills in: Microsoft (Word & Excel), communications, writing, research, problem-solving, organization, data management, technology (such as Zoom, Google suite, InDesign).

The position could start yet this spring and ideally would continue through summer and 2022-23 academic year.
