Technical Crew, Event Services, Maucker Union

The Technical Assistant assists the Technical Manager with the daily operations in regard to technical configurations and maintenance requirements in Lang Hall Auditorium and other campus locations. The position requires a person to have a mature attitude regarding the job, as well as being able to work in a situation that requires flexibility.


Duties include: Setup, operates, and teardown audio/visual equipment used for the events. Setup, operates, and teardown stage lighting equipment for events in Lang Hall Auditorium and in Maucker Union. Custodial duties include dry/wet mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal. Other duties as assigned.



Hours vary due to the event and maintenance schedules.  Averages 8 hours per week.
