Library Assistant - Special Collections & Archives

Rod Library is hiring a temporary Library Assistant in Special Collections and University Archives (SC&UA) for the Summer session only. Library assistants provide support to patrons seeking to use Special Collections & University Archives materials. They also assist SC&UA faculty and staff with various tasks related to collections maintenance. Daily tasks include greeting patrons who come into the area, providing research support to visitors, reshelving materials, basic processing and preservation of archival materials, and indexing newspapers and other university publications.

Hourly Wage Rate: $11.00
Hours Per Week: 20-40
Schedule: Temporary Summer session only position. Working hours must fall between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
