Library Assistant-Instructional Resources & Tech. Services (Work Study only)
Instructional Resources & Technology Services (IRTS) of Rod Library is seeking to fill several student Library Assistant positions.
Library Assistants staff the IRTS service desk and assist with a variety of duties, including answering basic reference questions, searching the library's system to help patrons locate materials, shelving materials, and shelf reading the collections as well as answering phones.
Number of Openings: 4
Hourly Wage Rate: $12.00
Hours Per Week: 10-20
Schedule: Some weekend and evening hours are required
Job Duration: Continuing throughout the year.
Preferred start date: August 26, 2024

Required qualifications:
- Dependable.
- Must be able to work independently and be a self starter.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to learn.
Preferred qualifications:
- Customer service experience.
