Business Tutor

The Office of Student-Athlete Development hires students who have a high commitment to helping others achieve their academic goals. You should be able to relate to and understand students with a variety of interests, abilities, and concerns. Part of our mission is to help student-athletes become acclimated to the collegiate setting and to aid them in the development of effective and efficient learning strategies, successful reading strategies, and the use of appropriate campus resources to solve problems. As a business tutor, you will be tutoring business core courses and/or courses from your major that you feel comfortable with. 

Successful applicants for this position have excellent communicative, academic, and interpersonal skills and a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0. Applicants should also have completed a minimum of one academic year at UNI and be at least a sophomore standing. The applicant must have earned a B+ or higher in all business courses that they wish to tutor.
