Office Assistant
The Office of Student-Athlete Development is looking for an Office Assistant to help with day-to-day office operations. The successful applicant will have a positive attitude, a desire to work as efficiently as possible, and an ability to be flexible as tasks will vary day-to-day.
This position is ideal for someone who would like to gain professional experience while working on campus. Applicant MUST have Federal Work Study to apply for this position.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting Athletics Academic Advisors with day-to-day academic-related tasks
- Updating spreadsheets, maintaining documents, and filing records
- Helping organize and maintain computer lab and study spaces
- Assisting the Life Skills Coordinator with events as necessary
- Creating, maintaining, and entering information into databases
- Other duties as assigned
- 5-10 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Must be highly organized
- Must be able to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and demonstrate good judgment
- Must possess strong leadership skills
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
